Job summary

DIVIETO Ristorante Group. seeks a skilled Remote Network Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure the organization’s network infrastructure. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and support day-to-day IT operations in a fully remote capacity.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience, strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN knowledge, and the ability to work independently with IT teams across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related.
• Two to five years of network administration experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and subnetting.
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
• Familiarity with VPNs, remote access, and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of network security, access control, and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Configure, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless APs.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and connectivity to identify issues.
• Troubleshoot outages, latency, connectivity problems, and hardware/software failures.
• Administer LANs, WANs, VPNs, and wireless networks.
• Manage access controls, permissions, and authentication settings.
• Implement security measures to protect systems and data.
• Apply configuration updates, firmware upgrades, and patches.
• Maintain documentation of network configurations and changes.
• Perform routine maintenance, backups, and recovery checks.
• Investigate incidents and coordinate with IT teams to resolve problems.
• Support remote access solutions and secure connectivity for distributed employees.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and systems teams to maintain IT security standards.
• Evaluate capacity and recommend improvements for reliability and performance.
• Assist with disaster recovery planning and network continuity.
