UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Network Contract Manager for UnitedHealthcare Network (UHN) to develop and negotiate provider networks that balance access, cost, and quality. This role emphasizes strong contract negotiation skills and financial modeling to manage unit costs and rate structures.

Located in Florida with the flexibility to work remotely, the role requires coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant contract templates and broad provider access.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of contract review, creation and negotiation in a network management-related role.
• 2+ years of experience using financial models and analysis to negotiate rates with providers.
• Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Intermediate knowledge of claims processing systems and guidelines.
• Willing and able to work Eastern hours and have reliable transportation and a valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage unit cost budgets, target setting, performance reporting and associated financial models.
• Guide development of geographically competitive, broad access, stable networks that achieve objectives for unit cost performance and trend management.
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts in compliance with company templates, reimbursement structure standards and other key process controls.
• Ensure that network composition includes an appropriate distribution of provider specialties.
• Provide explanations and information to others on difficult issues.
• Work cross-functionally to facilitate resolution of issues.
