Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Network Automation Engineer for a 100% remote role in the United States. The position focuses on automating network configuration, change management, and observability using Python and modern APIs across multi-vendor environments.

You will work with cross-functional teams to translate unclear requirements into robust, production-grade solutions. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience, deep networking knowledge, and hands-on automation with Netmiko,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field.
Five or more years of network automation experience.
Strong Python development skills including OOP, testing, and packaging.
Deep networking fundamentals including routing, switching, and BGP.
Hands-on experience with Netmiko, NAPALM, Nornir, or Scrapli.
Experience with modern network APIs (NETCONF, RESTCONF, gNMI).
Strong experience with Ansible and Jinja2 templating for network automation.
Familiarity with NetBox, Nautobot, or other source-of-truth platforms.
Strong Git-based workflows and CI/CD experience.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Automate network configuration and change management across multi-vendor environments.
Build production-grade automation using modern network APIs, IaC, and CI/CD practices.
Collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable solutions.
Contribute to code reviews and design reviews to raise the bar for engineering quality.
