Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Network Automation Engineer for full-time remote work in the U.S. You will automate network configuration, change management, and observability across multi-vendor environments using Python, IaC, and CI/CD.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in network automation, strong Python skills, and experience with NETCONF/RESTCONF/gNMI, Ansible, and source-of-truth platforms. Excellent collaboration and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field.
• 6+ years of network automation experience.
• Strong Python development skills including OOP, testing, and packaging.
• Deep networking fundamentals including routing, switching, and BGP.
• Hands-on experience with Netmiko, NAPALM, Nornir, or Scrapli.
• Experience with modern network APIs (NETCONF, RESTCONF, gNMI).
• Strong experience with Ansible and Jinja2 templating for network automation.
• Familiarity with NetBox, Nautobot, or other source-of-truth platforms.
• Strong Git-based workflows and CI/CD experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Automate network configuration, change management, and observability across multi-vendor networks.
• Build production-grade automation using APIs, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD practices.
• Write idiomatic Python and ship automation in production.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders; mentor junior engineers.
