Job summary

Meijer is seeking a software engineer to design, configure, test, and optimize applications within an Agile SAFe framework. You’ll collaborate with business product owners and IT partners to craft user stories and acceptance criteria, while ensuring secure coding practices.

The role involves development across front-end and back-end stacks using C#/.NET and Azure-hosted services, with occasional travel to the Grand Rapids corporate office. Strong teamwork and adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent required.
• SAFe certifications (SSM, SASM, SA, SPC, SPMPO) preferred.
• Experience in systems development, programming or business/systems analysis preferred.
• Proficiency with C# and .NET technologies; Azure hosted services including Logic Apps, Function Apps, Storage, Data Factory.

Responsibilities

• Codes, configures, tests, and implements programs and packages per SAFe Agile standards.
• Runs unit tests and reacts to test results.
• Gleans understanding of systems and business knowledge.
• Collaborates with Product Owner and IT to refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Assists in planning and monitoring of systems development.
• Adheres to secure coding practices within Agile framework.
• Participates in all Agile ceremonies and team activities.
• Provides production support and maintenance as needed.
• May act as Scrum Master for ITS Agile teams.
• Performs additional duties as required.
