Covetus is seeking a hands-on .NET Azure Architect with 10+ years of experience to lead application modernization, Azure cloud transformation, and AI initiatives for a US healthcare payer. You will design enterprise-grade .NET and Azure solutions and mentor teams.

This role requires deep expertise in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Azure services, SQL Server, microservices, REST APIs, and practical experience with Generative AI/LLMs and AI-powered development tools. Remote work offered nationwide.

10+ years in software development, architecture, or technical leadership.

Responsibilities

Design and modernize enterprise .NET applications and Azure cloud solutions.
Develop and review C#/.NET code, APIs, microservices, SQL queries, and stored procedures.
Work with Azure services such as App Services, Functions, AKS, Azure SQL, Service Bus, API Management, and Key Vault.
Leverage GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Azure OpenAI, or similar tools for development, code analysis, testing, and modernization.
Identify opportunities for Generative AI, RAG, Agentic AI, and intelligent automation.
Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams.
Support Azure DevOps, CI/CD, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and cloud transformation.
