Job summary

GC&E Federal seeks an experienced Application Developer to support CDC cancer registry modernization through advanced software development and cloud integration in Azure. You will implement and enhance secure, scalable apps using .NET, Angular, and Telerik UI Controls within an enterprise setting.

You will work on service layer components, RESTful services, and HL7/FHIR/CDA data standards, collaborating with architects and analysts.

Qualifications

10+ years in software development with .NET/C# and SQL Server.
Hands‑on experience with Telerik UI Controls in enterprise web apps.
Strong familiarity with Azure services and RESTful APIs.
Experience with HL7 standards (v2.x, FHIR, CDA) and secure messaging.
Azure DevOps or TFS for work tracking, source control, and automation.

Responsibilities

Implement cloud-native apps using .NET and Angular in Azure, following architectural patterns.
Enhance UX with Telerik UI Controls for intuitive front-end behavior.
Develop and maintain service layer code for business logic and secure communication.
Modernize legacy systems by moving functionality to Azure-hosted solutions.
Collaborate with architects, analysts, and leads to translate specs into code.
Develop and troubleshoot web apps and secure messaging for cancer pathology reporting.
Integrate HL7, FHIR, and CDA data standards within public health workflows.
Document features and updates comprehensively.
Use Azure DevOps to manage tasks, source control, and CI/CD.
Contribute to testing, QA, and validation efforts.
