Job summary

CGS Business Solutions is seeking a remote Full Stack Web Application Developer/Data Engineer for our Financial Services client. You will join the Enterprise Application Development team to build, enhance, and support borrower-facing portals and internal web applications using .NET, C#, and Azure.

Collaborate with architects and senior developers to implement UI components, API integrations, and backend logic, while writing clean, testable code and ensuring security and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of web development with .NET and C#.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and consuming external services.
• Proficient with SQL Server and writing T-SQL.
• Familiar with Azure services like App Services and Key Vault.
• Nice-to-have: Umbraco CMS, Git, Azure DevOps, secure coding practices, CI/CD, deployments.

Responsibilities

• Support development of the Borrower Portal and internal business applications under the direction of senior team members.
• Implement UI components, API integrations, and backend logic.
• Collaborate with designers and product owners to translate user requirements into functional web solutions.
• Write clean, testable code and participate in peer reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in development and production environments.
• Participate in application deployments and assist with DevOps tasks as needed.
• Maintain documentation for technical specifications and user support.
• Follow best practices for security, coding standards, and version control.
