Job summary

True North Consultants is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to modernize its enterprise platform. The role blends application development with data challenges, balancing roughly 50% C#/.NET work and 50% SQL Server/ETL tasks.

Initially, you will help build .NET 8 microservices, design scalable REST APIs, and enable enterprise data integrations including Salesforce, Kafka, and other platforms in a collaborative Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Strong enterprise software development experience using C#/.NET.
• Experience with SQL Server objects and complex queries.
• Experience with enterprise data integration or ETL solutions.
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with Dapper is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise applications using C# and .NET 8.
• Design and build scalable REST APIs and microservices.
• Write advanced SQL Server queries, stored procedures, functions, and database objects.
• Support enterprise ETL development and data integration initiatives.
• Participate in the migration from Informatica to SnapLogic.
• Develop integrations between enterprise systems including Salesforce and other business platforms.
• Work with Kafka messaging and modern integration technologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and technical solutions.
• Participate in design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing application support.
• Contribute to a collaborative Agile development environment using GitHub, Jira, and CI/CD practices.
