SME Careers, a fast-growing AI Data Services company and subsidiary of SuperAnnotate, is hiring a Nepali Quality Assurance Lead (QAL) for an hourly remote contractor role. You will oversee quality across Nepali AI training projects, review AI-generated Nepali content, and provide precise written feedback to ensure adherence to client guidelines.

You will monitor accuracy, fluency, grammar, tone, and cultural appropriateness; coordinate with trainers and QAs on Discord; support onboarding;

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Nepali proficiency with strong reading/writing skills.
• Great English skills to follow guidelines and give feedback in English.
• 3+ years in Nepali writing, editing, translation, or QA workflows.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quality monitoring: spot-check Nepali items and provide feedback.
• Trainer/QA communication: update with new guidelines and standards.
• Question handling: address Nepali grammar and style concerns.
• Activation management: re-engage inactive contributors and track follow-ups.
• Documentation: create Nepali project docs, guides, FAQs.
• Onboarding/training: run sessions explaining expectations and rubrics.
• Quality alignment: ensure adherence to Nepali language guidelines.
• Process improvement: propose scalable QA workflows.
