Crossing Hurdles is seeking an experienced NDT professional to analyze radiographic, ultrasonic PAUT, and MT/PT indications across oil & gas, petrochemical, and power sectors.

You will review inspection data, write evaluations, and recommend dispositions per code-based criteria. The role supports remote work, requires strong communication, and offers opportunities to influence project protocols and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Active ASNT or ISO 9712 NDT Level II/III certification in RT, UT/PAUT, MT, PT.
• Extensive experience interpreting radiographs, UT/PAUT, MT/PT indications in oil & gas, petrochemical, or power sectors.
• Thorough working knowledge of US and international codes and standards (ASME V, VIII, XI; API 510/570/653; API 1104; AWS D1.1).
• Expertise in making nuanced accept/reject determinations according to code-based acceptance criteria.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and feedback to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct objective, quality-focused work independently in a remote setting.
• Experience evaluating thermography or RVI data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze radiographic images (RT), ultrasonic scans (UT/PAUT), and MT/PT indications.
• Review authentic inspection data and provide meticulous written and verbal evaluations in line with codes and standards.
• Apply advanced knowledge of weld defect acceptance criteria to disposition recommendations.
• Evaluate thermographic imagery or RVI footage as needed for expert judgement.
• Produce clear, concise, technically accurate reports documenting findings and actions.
• Collaborate asynchronously with peers to resolve complex indications and improve accuracy.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project protocols based on best practices and evolving criteria.
