Terrestris seeks an Adjunct Faculty Instructor NAV103 to deliver high‑quality, fully online asynchronous instruction to enlisted Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen via the USNCC. The role supports Navy mission readiness and builds critical thinking through Naval Studies and General Education courses.

The position is a remote, 1099 contractor with eight hours per week over a 10‑week term. Fall I runs Aug 10, 2026 through Oct 4, 2026, with potential for up to two courses per term for

Qualifications

• Authorization to permanently work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Relevant military/government experience with military personnel.
• Experience teaching at the collegiate level in online environments (LMS).
• Academic or professional qualifications aligned with the course outcomes.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high‑quality, online asynchronous instruction for USNCC courses.
• Attend onboarding, prepare materials, and upload to the LMS for approval.
• Teach undergraduate online courses per USNCC policies and standards.
• Facilitate online discussions and provide timely feedback to students.
• Grade assignments and exams using established rubrics and timelines.
• Monitor progression, respond to inquiries, and maintain office hours.
• Prepare weekly progress reports and end-of-course summaries.
• Participate in faculty meetings and collaborate with course leads and staff.
• Ensure all materials comply with USNCC policies and DoD standards.
