Secretary of the Navy Offices (SECNAV) is seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to perform in-house design work within established milestones and quality standards. The position requires a professional engineering degree, ABET-accredited program, or equivalent licensure (EI/EIT/PE) with acceptable licensure paths and required coursework.

The role is telework eligible, with a target salary range of $106,437 to $158,062 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Alternative: EI, EIT, or PE licensure by any state.
• FE exam or other licensure path may apply.
• 60 semester hours of physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences for an acceptable engineering program.
• Bachelor's in engineering technology/science with 1 year of professional engineering experience may be accepted.
