Job summary
Oxford Nanopore Technologies Ltd. is seeking a seasoned field-based Account Executive to drive adoption across Upstate New York.
You will own a strategic territory, building relationships with academic institutions, government bodies, and biotech organizations to expand instrument placements and consumables use. You will manage complex, consultative sales across capital equipment and ongoing services, while coordinating with Inside Sales, Field Applications Scientists, and marketing to ensure
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field.
- 5+ years field-based commercial experience in scientific instruments or related sectors.
- Experience in the NGS market preferred.
- Strong relationship-building and strategic account planning.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow territory across Upstate New York.
- Develop academic, government, biotech, and clinical research accounts.
- Lead complex, consultative sales cycles for capital equipment and consumables.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer success and adoption.
- Represent Oxford Nanopore at regional scientific events.
