Job summary

AngelAlign is seeking a Payroll Operations & Benefits Coordinator for its North America business (United States and Canada). The role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance, coordinating with HQ in China and regional HR teams.

Remote options in the United States with on-site work in Milwaukee, WI or Southern California; requires 5+ years in payroll, US/Canada payroll experience, English fluency, and strong project management with MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain payroll calculation rules (regular pay, overtime, bonuses, deductions, tax withholdings, etc.) and monitor relevant regulation changes
• Coordinate the end-to-end payroll process for employees across the United States and Canada, working with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Maintain records of documents (payroll report, payroll ledger and relevant forms) for audit/compliance
• Verify personnel data (NDAs, contracts, compensation) and prepare various HR reports/dashboards according to business or internal HR needs to ensure the completeness and accuracy of data.
• Liaise with internal teams (HR, Finance, Legal) and respond to employees in a professional manner
• Assist with HR projects (such as annual compensation review, budget planning, etc.) and cross-functional HR projects as needed
