Job summary

Huntress Labs is seeking a Senior Manager, Detection Engineering & Threat Hunting to lead North America DE&TH operations. The role focuses on strategy, execution, and scaling of a regional team, collaborating with Product and Engineering to mature the detection portfolio in line with platform growth.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years leading security teams, a strategic mindset, and strong advocacy for proactive hunting. This is a remote, US-based position with executive visibility and impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading technical security teams (Detection Engineering, Hunting, or IR) including distributed/remote teams.
• Ability to balance local autonomy with global alignment and run a region as a business unit.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution of the North America DE&TH mission and translate global goals into regional roadmaps.
• Scale and manage a regional team, oversee hiring, capacity planning, and performance.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Security; coordinate with EMEA/APAC regional managers.
• Serve as the senior leadership contact for DE&TH during NA business hours during incidents.
• Track KPIs and drive improvements when metrics deviate.
