Job summary

Melotech is seeking a Music Producer to own the final mile of our catalog, delivering release-ready tracks. You will mix, master, align vocals to instrumentals, and ensure quality across every delivery. Experience with Ableton, Logic Pro, or Pro Tools, and a track record of commercially released work are preferred.

You will manage a fast-paced production pipeline, collaborate with remote freelancers, and use AI tools where they speed up the process. Equity and remote work options are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years producing, mixing or mastering music that was commercially released, ideally at volume
• Mixing and mastering to streaming loudness standards and familiarity with common chains/DAWs
• Vocal alignment, tuning, editing to fit instrumentals and deliver cohesive tracks
• Quality control with structured feedback to improve deliveries
• Experience running a production pipeline with multiple tracks and remote freelancers
• Comfort across country, soul, reggae and metal genres and adjusting chains per genre
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment
• Desirable: exposure to AI music tools and stem separation in real releases

Responsibilities

• Combine and finish instrumentals and vocals into a release-ready track
• Master tracks to streaming loudness and format standards with clean metadata
• Conduct quality review of every track and provide precise, written notes
• Manage the production pipeline from brief to final master and track status
• Utilize stem separation, tuning, mastering, and AI audio tools to speed up workflow
