Job summary

Natera, a leader in cfDNA testing, is hiring a Machine Learning Scientist to design and deploy deep learning models spanning histopathology imaging, genomics, transcriptomics, and cfDNA.

You will build multimodal AI systems combining imaging, molecular, and clinical data, collaborating with pathologists, bioinformaticians, and software engineers to scale ML solutions for oncology diagnostics and MRD testing.

Qualifications

• PhD in CS, computational biology, bioinformatics, or related quantitative field with ML focus.
• Experience in biomedical ML, imaging, genomics, transcriptomics, or cfDNA.
• Proficient in PyTorch and production-grade Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and evaluate deep learning models across biomedical modalities.
• Develop multimodal AI architectures integrating imaging, molecular, and clinical data.
• Build scalable ML workflows and pipelines on cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to deploy validated tools.
• Analyze outputs to derive biological and clinical insights.
