Job summary

Planet Green Holdings is seeking an experienced Estimator to support remote ground-up multifamily and commercial construction projects in California. The role focuses on developing accurate, competitive cost estimates for large-scale multifamily developments and coordinating with PMs, developers, and architects to keep budgets aligned with goals.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of estimating experience in ground-up multifamily work, strong knowledge of building codes and pricing, and proficiency

Qualifications

• 3 years estimating experience in ground-up multifamily construction.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and industry pricing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive estimates for ground-up multifamily projects, including material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Review architectural and engineering plans, specifications, and bid documents to ensure accuracy.
• Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Work closely with project managers, developers, and architects to align budgets with project goals.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize costs without sacrificing quality.
• Analyze historical cost data and market trends to refine pricing models.
• Assist in pre-construction planning and project feasibility assessments.
