Job summary

Chemtrade is seeking a Manufacturing Accountant for a fully remote role serving multiple plants across the United States. The position focuses on product costing, inventory accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and partnering with operations to drive performance.

You will manage monthly closes, analyze costs and variances, maintain standard costing, and prepare forecasts and analyses to support informed business decisions. A CPA or progress toward CPA and SAP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA designation (or working toward CPA) preferred.
  • 5+ years of accounting or finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of inventory accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

Position: Manufacturing Accountant

Primary Location: Remote USA or CANADA

Schedule: Full time, salaried

Reports To: Business Controller

Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 + bonus + benefits.

Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. More specific salary range for your preferred location can be discussed during the hiring process. Please note that the compensation details listed reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, benefits, pension contributions or additional incentives.

Position Summary
