Job summary

CalOptima Health in Orange, CA seeks a MuleSoft Integration Architect (ITS Architect III) to shape our enterprise integration strategy. The role focuses on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API-led connectivity, and secure, scalable data integration across core systems.

You will lead API design, governance, and collaboration with IT, security, and cloud teams to ensure high performance in a telework-enabled environment. The position requires 8 years of IT experience with middleware architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or related technical discipline plus 8 years of progressive IT experience including enterprise integration or middleware architecture.
• 5 years of RESTful and SOAP API development, CI/CD pipelines, including hands-on MuleSoft implementation experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise integration solutions enabling secure, scalable data exchange across CalOptima Health’s digital ecosystem.
• Lead API-led connectivity design, integration frameworks, and reusable services for real-time and batch data exchange.
• Guide architectural decisions, governance, and vendor management for MuleSoft integrations and APIs.
