Job summary
RemoteJobsOne is seeking a Member of Technical Staff, Legal Research, to work remotely in the United States. You will define evaluation frameworks for AI agents in legal domains, conduct original research on legal reasoning, and collaborate with researchers and engineers to advance enterprise AI.

Qualifications
- Advanced law degree required (JD/LLM/SJD/PhD)
- Proven experience in legal research or policy work
- Ability to develop structured methodologies for evaluating legal arguments and outcomes
- Strong analytical reasoning and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design, own, and evolve evaluation frameworks for AI agents in legal domains.
- Conduct original research on legal reasoning and statutory interpretation.
- Develop datasets, case studies, and benchmarks reflecting real-world legal challenges.
- Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to evaluate and improve legal models.
- Analyze model performance, reasoning quality, and failure modes in legal use cases.
- Publish internal research findings and best practices.
- Stay updated on legal tech, jurisprudence, and regulatory environments.
