Job summary

Travere Therapeutics is seeking a flexible Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support rare kidney disease programs. You will engage with nephrologists and APPs, deliver balanced medical information, and expand scientific exchange in a field-based role across a designated region.

The ideal candidate has an advanced degree, 2+ years MSL experience, and strong communication skills; willingness to travel up to 60-80% and to participate in regional/national congresses.

Qualifications

Advanced degree strongly preferred (PharmD/MD/DO/PhD/PA/NP).
2+ years of MSL experience in pharma/biotech.
Experience in nephrology or rare disease preferred.
Experience working with KOLs, medical congresses, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Scientific exchange (non-promotional): conduct on-label discussions with physicians and other HCPs.
Provide medical presentations and respond to unsolicited medical inquiries.
Maintain medical strategy knowledge and literature update.
Coordinate congress presence and logistics regionally and nationally.
Document insights and interactions in CRM within 48 hours.
Support medical projects and cross-functional collaboration.
