Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Medical Science Liaison for Cell Therapy in Northern California and Nevada to engage with medical thought leaders and support hematology initiatives. This field-based role requires frequent travel and collaboration with Medical Affairs to share scientific data.

The candidate should have an MD/DO/PharmD/DNP/PhD and 3–5 years of hematology or MSL experience, with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/PharmD/PhD required.
• 3–5 years clinical or research experience in hematology OR 3–5 years as an MSL.
• Cell therapy experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently and across cross-functional networks.
• Knowledge of US regulatory and compliance guidelines for industry interactions.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships within the medical community.
• Excellent communication, presentation and time-management skills.
• Ability to translate scientific/clinical data for physicians to better serve patients.

Responsibilities

• Identify Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and establish scientific relationships.
• Act as liaison to investigators for investigator-initiated research.
• Develop geography-specific Field Medical and KOL interaction plans.
• Provide clinical presentations and information in academic, community and healthcare settings.
• Collaborate with Clinical organization to support patient enrollment in trials.
• Provide scientific support at medical congresses.
• Provide timely feedback on emerging clinical opportunities to internal stakeholders.
