Jet HomeLoans, LP is a national mortgage lender seeking an Underwriter to handle complex loan applications and manage an active pipeline in Orlando, FL. The role focuses on underwriting Government and Conventional loans while ensuring salability and adherence to investor guidelines.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of underwriting experience, VA SAR designation, and strong knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC guidelines, TRID/TILA/ECOA/HMDA compliance, and loan documentation analysis.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mortgage underwriting experience
• Knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC guidelines
• Knowledge of TRID, TILA, ECOA, HMDA requirements
• Ability to read and interpret loan documents
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with loan origination software and basic math

Responsibilities

• Underwrite complex loan applications and manage assigned loan pipeline
• Ensure loans comply with investor/insurer guidelines
• Keep up-to-date with investor and insurer programs
• Communicate with sales, processing, underwriting, closing, and compliance teams
• Research and respond to QA/QC reviews
• Meet productivity and loan quality standards
