Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer for Retail Community to develop mortgage loan business through internal and external referrals and to build relationships within the community. You will advise clients on loan options, ensure accuracy through underwriting, and maintain ongoing client relationships.

A strong focus on customer service and cross-selling of related financial products is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1+ years mortgage loan origination experience, preferably at a bank.
• NMLS license required.

Responsibilities

• Develops new and expands internal and external referral sources to grow mortgage business.
• Advises clients on mortgage loan options and other financial products using consultative selling.
• Provides excellent customer service from approval through closing, coordinating with origination sources for underwriting.
• Maintains client relationships.
• Advises customers on the completion of loan applications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
