National Mortgage Staffing seeks an experienced Mortgage Development Officer / Mortgage Loan Officer to grow mortgage production in either Houston, TX or Tulsa, OK, with a fully remote option. The role emphasizes self-generated business, Realtors and corporate relationships, plus maintain CRM-based pipelines.

Base salary $40,000–$50,000 with uncapped 30–45 basis point commissions, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to expand through strategic partnerships and community outreach.

Qualificações

• Active NMLS registration is required.
• 5–7 years of Mortgage Loan Officer or similar origination experience.
• Must be based in Houston, TX or Tulsa, OK.
• Proven ability to self-generate mortgage business.
• Strong Realtor and referral relationships.
• Knowledge of FHA/VA, Freddie Mac; construction, bridge, reverse loans preferred.
• Experience with CRM, MMI, HomeBot, and social media.
• Comfortable using digital tools.

Responsabilidades

• Recommend mortgage loan products and take applications.
• Respond to member mortgage inquiries.
• Develop referral relationships with Realtors, community leaders, corporate contacts, relocation professionals, and members.
• Proactively generate new mortgage business.
• Build repeat and referral business.
• Maintain consistent follow-up and pipeline management.
• Work with internal teams to ensure originated loans move effectively through closing.
• Maintain active NMLS registration.
• Complete required compliance training.
• Use CRM, MMI, HomeBot, social media, and digital tools to support business development.
