Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks a Technical/Business Analyst/Engineer to deliver accurate data solutions across a PLM platform and supporting systems for commercial mortgage data. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications and validated data outcomes, collaborating with IT stakeholders in regulated financial environments.

The role is contract-to-hire, remote, with W2 benefits and a pay rate of $60.00–$70.00/hr. Applicants must convert to FTE after the contract duration.

Qualifications

• Transforms data into information for analytics.
• Advanced SQL skills; use of Alteryx or similar tools for data anomaly detection.
• Experience with Python for data analysis, automation, or scripting is a plus.
• Experience with APIs or system integrations (REST, JSON) is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines within Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, document, and maintain business and functional requirements with structured walkthroughs.
• Own development of requirements for support and enhancements in the Commercial Mortgage Data Warehouse.
• Transform business requirements into SQL statements.
• Analyze data to triage issues within the data model.
• Collaborate with data architects, sponsors, admins, and report writers in Agile environments.
• Analyze source system data to improve data quality.
• Identify data issues and potential solutions with the business.
• Improve data quality through rules automation.
• Perform gap analysis and apply configuration changes in the application management tool.
