Job summary

Hightouch is seeking a Developer Productivity Engineer to own the monorepo and the path to production for a 50+ engineers team. You will push rapid, safe deployments across multiple languages in a multi-cloud, multi-region setup, while improving testing and build efficiency.

The role emphasizes ownership, customer-facing problem solving, and shaping the dev workflow with a focus on scale and reliability. Remote-first with global reach and equity compensation available.

Qualifications

• Experience improving productivity for large developer teams (50+ engineers).
• Strong CS fundamentals and wide development experience across multiple languages and systems.
• Ability to drive framework-level improvements across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the build/test/deploy of our software and how teams fit into it.
• Improve monorepo productivity and consider TurboRepo to speed builds.
• Improve test coverage and manage a matrix of data sources, destinations, and enrichment patterns.
• Support multi-region and multi-cloud backend and expand to new regions for data residency needs.
• Increase operational excellence by catching issues before production and responding quickly.
