Job summary

Education Unlimited is seeking an Online Mock Trial Instructor to guide middle and high school students through a hands-on curriculum. Classes run via Zoom and Google Classroom with cohorts of 8–12 students, and instructors bring legal concepts to life with engaging lectures and activities.

Applicants should have strong public speaking, leadership, and a passion for education; a background in law (practicing attorney or legal expert) is valued. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience teaching, leading, coaching, or participating in mock trial.
• A practicing attorney, former practicing attorney, or legal expert
• Proven ability to lead small or large groups.
• A calm and professional demeanor.
• The willingness and ability to work long hours.
• Self-motivation and follow-through.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Guide high school and middle school students through Education Unlimited’s mock trial curriculum.
• Teach daily seminars and workshops; be a natural leader enthusiastic about working with youth.
• Deliver small lectures and manage/prep students for trial.
• Track student work and submit deliverables to camp director and EU home office.
• Collaborate with lead instructor/attorney for mock trial execution.
• Mentor students, lead field trips and supervise group activities as needed.
