Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking Mobile Inspectors at multiple levels for remote work with an assigned territory in the United States. Candidates must live in Downey, CA or within a 10-mile radius.

Roles involve on-site vehicle inspections, detailed documentation, and building dealer relationships. There are three levels with hourly pay ranges ($18.17–$27.21, $19.90–$29.81, $21.83–$32.79) plus monthly incentives, guaranteed first months, vehicle usage reimbursements, and routes to grow inspection

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimal automotive knowledge preferred for Level 1; 3+ years in related field for Level 2; senior requires extensive automotive experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections per standards and document conditions.
• Inspect both exterior and interior, verify VINs, mileage and options.
• Manage inspection schedules and build dealer relationships.
• Prepare daily activity reports and use Salesforce for tracking.
