Job summary

Cox Automotive is hiring a Mobile Inspector to perform vehicle inspections across dealer lots with high accuracy and adherence to inspection standards. The role supports dealer clients through reliable communication and timely documentation, within a hybrid work model and assigned territory.

The position emphasizes learning Manheim inspection standards, operating within a Lean environment, and collaborating with internal teams to drive customer success. North Hollywood, CA residents preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 years of automotive-related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic vehicle inspections with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Safely move and handle vehicles on dealer lots.
• Accurately document vehicle condition and data in inspection systems.
• Develop working knowledge of inspection standards and client expectations.
• Build trust with dealer clients through consistent quality and responsiveness.
• Educate clients on the value of Manheim Marketplace and mobile inspection services.
