Job summary

Iron Sheepdog Inc. seeks a Mobile Quality Assurance Engineer to own test automation across React Native, Next.js, and Node.js backend.

You will join a fully remote engineering team and expand automated testing frameworks to deliver repeatable coverage and fewer defects for brokers, contractors, and haulers. You will write E2E tests with Cypress, build mobile automation with Playwright/Detox/Appium, and write Jest unit tests.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software testing or quality assurance experience.

Responsibilities

• Write, maintain, and expand end-to-end (E2E) testing coverage using Cypress across parallel CI suites.
• Set up and expand mobile automation framework using Playwright or Detox/Appium for React Native.
• Write unit tests using Jest to ensure code quality across components and utilities.
• Validate backend logic, Cloud Functions (Node.js), and Firestore security rules using the Firebase Emulator Suite.
• Collaborate with engineers to test AI-powered features, including Google Vision AI and Document AI.
• Ensure smooth test execution and integration within Bitbucket CI/CD pipelines.
• Use session replay and heatmap tools to debug UX issues and improve quality.
• Partner with engineering across the SDLC to uphold a White-Glove standard of quality.
