Job summary

Fabletics is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Mobile App Platform, owning the shared platform behind our React Native app and guiding cross-feature conventions. You will influence platform decisions, pair with existing owners, and drive measurable impact across teams.

You’ll push AI-native workflows ( Claude Code ) to higher levels, refine harnesses, and enable engineers to focus on judgment calls, while delivering customer-facing features with performance and reliability in mind.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with React Native.
• Real experience owning shared infrastructure used across teams.
• Strong TypeScript fundamentals in a strictly-typed codebase.
• Deep understanding of React Native fundamentals and debugging across JS/native.
• Experience with iOS/Android native build tooling and app store processes.
• Experience with GraphQL, Apollo Client, and modern async/state-management.
• Strong testing instincts, including building testing infrastructure.
• AI-forward mindset and experience using AI-assisted development tools.
• Mentorship experience and bias toward raising the bar via code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Platform Architecture & Delivery: Design, build, maintain shared architecture for the mobile app.
• Feature Delivery: Develop customer-facing features in the app.
• State & Data Layer: Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs and manage app-wide state.
• Cross-Platform Engineering: Debug iOS/Android and JS-native boundaries.
• Performance: Profile and optimize rendering, startup, and bundle size.
• AI‑Driven Engineering: Improve Claude Code agent workflows.
• Platform Quality & Reliability: Maintain Vitest testing infra and standards.
• Mentorship & Code Review: Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar.
• Cross‑Team Enablement: Help teams apply platform patterns.
• Production Ownership: Diagnose production issues and participate in on-call.
