Fabletics is seeking a Software Engineer on the Mobile App Platform. You’ll split time between shared app infrastructure and customer‑facing features, with ownership growing as you shape platform decisions and patterns.

Our team emphasizes AI‑native workflows, performance, and reliability. You’ll mentor peers, review code, and partner with feature teams to apply platform patterns. This remote‑friendly role is HQ’d in El Segundo, CA, with a competitive base salary and strong total rewards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with React Native or strong React + mobile platform experience.
• Experience owning shared infrastructure used across teams.
• Strong TypeScript fundamentals in a strictly-typed codebase.
• Experience with iOS/Android native tooling and debugging cross-platform issues.
• Experience with GraphQL client-side and modern async/state-management patterns.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Platform Architecture & Delivery: Design, build, and maintain the shared architecture behind our React Native app.
• Feature Delivery: Handle customer-facing features, e.g., push notifications and checkout flows.
• State & Data Layer: Integrate with internal APIs and maintain app-wide state-management patterns.
• Cross-Platform Engineering: Diagnose iOS and Android-specific issues and native vs JS debugging.
• Performance: Profile and optimize app performance using React Native tooling.
• AI-Driven Engineering: Build and refine Claude Code agent workflows as core platform investment.
• Platform Quality & Reliability: Maintain testing infrastructure (Vitest) and enforce standards.
• Mentorship & Code Review: Review code, mentor engineers, and raise the technical bar.
• Cross‑Team Enablement: Partner with feature teams to apply platform patterns and reduce friction.
• Production Ownership: Diagnose production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
