Job summary

Alma is expanding its Consumer squads to deliver a more engaging, everyday consumer experience through the Alma Wallet and Consumer Engagement squads. You will build and ship features in the Alma app from design to production, integrating payments and ensuring a high bar for quality across iOS and Android.

You will collaborate with Product, Design and back‑end engineers, tackle security‑sensitive payment features and contribute to the evolution of the mobile stack using Expo, React Native,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building mobile applications with React Native and TypeScript.
• Experience releasing apps on the App Store and Google Play.
• Strong understanding of the React Native ecosystem, including Expo, navigation, state management and data fetching.
• Fluent in English and comfortable working in a cross‑functional, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship meaningful consumer experiences in the Alma app from design to production.
• Integrate payment SDKs and native mobile capabilities such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, card management, biometrics and secure storage.
• Raise the quality bar of the app through automated testing, monitoring, code reviews and continuous performance improvements.
• Contribute to technical decisions and improve architecture, tooling and release processes.
