Job summary

Alma is seeking a skilled Mobile Engineer to join the Consumer Engagement or Alma Wallet squads. You will build and ship features in the Alma app from design to production, collaborating with Product, Design and back-end engineers.

You will integrate payment SDKs (Apple Pay, Google Pay) and focus on performance, reliability and security, while promoting code quality through testing, reviews and monitoring in an international team.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience building mobile apps with React Native and TypeScript.
Strong understanding of the React Native ecosystem, including Expo, navigation, state management and data fetching.
Fluent in English and comfortable working in a cross-functional, international environment.

Responsibilities

Build and ship meaningful consumer experiences in the Alma app from design to production with Product, Design and back-end engineers.
Integrate payment SDKs and native mobile capabilities (Apple Pay, Google Pay, card management, biometrics, secure storage).
Raise the quality bar: testing, monitoring, code reviews and performance improvements.
