Job summary

MGX Equipment Services, LLC is seeking a Field Crane Technician for the Duluth, MN area. The role is remote and reports to the Bloomington, MN branch, under the Service Manager, with responsibilities including diagnostics, inspection and maintenance of mobile cranes and boom trucks.

Eligible candidates can expect a sign-on bonus of $4,500 after 90 days, tool reimbursement up to $1,500 per year, and potential relocation assistance. Union-represented pay and benefits are described in the contract.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; 1 year crane mechanic/technician experience preferred.
• Mechanical background with electrical and hydraulics; able to read schematics.
• Travel up to 50% for job sites and training.

Responsibilities

• Light diagnosis, repair and troubleshooting of mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes.
• Perform annual inspections.
• Complete reports, hours reports, time sheets and expense reports.
• Operate with minimal supervision.
• Other duties as assigned.
