Job summary

MGX Equipment Services is seeking a Field Crane Technician in Bloomington, MN to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile cranes and boom trucks. This full-time role reports to the Bloomington branch and the Service Manager, with a unionized pay structure and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical background with electrical and hydraulics knowledge.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Excellent communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Light diagnosis, repair and troubleshooting of mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes.
• Capable of working independently without direct supervision.
• Perform thorough and accurate annual inspections.
• Complete reports, hours and expense documentation accurately.
• Other duties as assigned.
