Job summary

LanguageLine Solutions LLC is seeking Mnong-English interpreters to handle on-demand phone interpretation from home in the United States. This remote, independent contractor role supports healthcare, government, finance, and more, with training and ongoing support.

Qualified interpreters will be fluent in Mnong and English, maintain cultural sensitivity, and manage potentially emotional calls while delivering accurate interpretations. High school diploma required, pre-employment checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Mnong and English and understanding of cultural nuances.
• Ability to assess regional and accent differences to communicate with LEP.
• Strong listening, retention and note-taking skills for accurate interpretation.
• Maintain neutrality and professionalism during calls, including sensitive topics.
• Experience in language-related fields (teaching, assessment, translation) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to interpretation sessions promptly in a friendly, professional manner.
• Render concepts accurately according to interpretation protocol.
