Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a hands-on Machine Learning Operations Manager to lead deployment and monitoring of enterprise ML products for Select Health. You will manage a team of ML engineers and data engineers, ensuring governance, security, and scalable operations.

Based in a fully remote role with travel as needed, you will align AI/ML strategy with business goals, drive CI/CD and IaC practices, and mentor staff to reduce costs while improving member outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering and implementing successful machine learning operations infrastructure and solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and best practices (Docker, Kubernetes, Git).
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Databricks Asset Bundles).
• Proven leadership skills and ability to guide high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of ML methodologies and frameworks including agentic systems.
• Experience with Python, R, SQL and ML production frameworks (Spark, TensorFlow, MLFlow, LangChain).

Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment and monitoring of enterprise ML solutions.
• Manage AI/ML, data, software engineering, cybersecurity, and cloud operations teams.
• Ensure Responsible AI practices in monitoring and governance.
• Lead AI/ML strategy and roadmap execution.

• Build, train, and mentor ML engineering teams for delivery excellence.
• Govern project portfolio and ensure timely, quality outcomes across clinical, business, and technical needs.
• Integrate ML solutions into key business processes with governance and explainability.
