Job summary

OpenKrill is seeking a machine learning practitioner who loves teaching to create and present ML courses for engineers, from foundations to training their own models. This remote freelance role supports a global hands-on platform for learning DevOps, cloud, Kubernetes and AI.

You'll shape courses with the curriculum team, write labs, narrate short lessons, record demos and respond to editorial feedback. Flexible hours, typical three-month project, with path to longer engagement or full-time work.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on ML foundations: trained, evaluated and shipped models.
• Ability to explain ML concepts clearly to engineers new to it.
• Excellent spoken and written English; on-camera delivery is required.
• Genuine passion for teaching; documented courses or talks is a plus.
• Keeps current with the field and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Shape the course with the curriculum team: sections, lessons, labs and notebooks.
• Write lab specs that a dedicated labs team builds, then test them.
• Write and narrate short, story-driven video lessons (about 6 minutes each).
• Record demo and lab-solution walkthroughs.
• Work through structured editorial feedback, especially on your first section.
