Job summary

OnHires is seeking a machine learning practitioner who loves teaching to create and present ML courses for engineers, from foundations to training their own models. This remote, freelance project starts with one paid course and offers a path toward longer collaboration or full-time roles.

You’ll work with the curriculum team to craft sections, write lab specs, and narrate concise video lessons. A care for clear explanations and engaging delivery is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong, hands-on ML foundations with proven training, evaluation and deployment ability.
• Ability to clearly explain ML concepts to engineers new to the field.
• Excellent spoken and written English with confidence on camera.
• Passion for teaching demonstrated through courses, tutorials, talks or mentoring.
• Willingness to stay current in a fast-evolving field.

Responsibilities

• Shape the course with the curriculum team: sections, lessons, labs and notebooks.
• Write lab specs that a dedicated labs team builds, then test them.
• Write and narrate short, story-driven video lessons (about 6 minutes each).
• Record demo and lab‑solution walkthroughs.
• Work through editorial feedback, especially on your first section.
