Blue Rose Research is seeking a Machine Learning Scientist to join our Scaled Polling & Forecasting Team. We build and maintain models that help progressive organizations understand the electoral landscape and make informed decisions.

The role covers the full modeling lifecycle from raw survey data to predictive scores, requiring rigorous statistics and good judgment under uncertainty. You’ll work with engineers, statisticians, and political analysts on impactful projects.

Competenze

• 4+ years of professional experience in ML engineering or research science with applied statistics and predictive modeling
• Strong Python programming and data-wrangling skills (SQL/DBs)
• Experience with Identity Resolution / Record Linkage / Survey & Voterfile Modeling or scaled Bayesian Modeling (numpyro/JAX)

Mansioni

• Build and maintain end-to-end modeling pipelines for polling and forecasting
• Develop models and feature engineering to improve polling infrastructure
• Translate statistical outputs into actionable guidance for campaigns and stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineers, statisticians, and political analysts to ship solutions
• Develop deep domain knowledge of political landscape to inform modeling decisions
