Job summary

Quora is a remote-first company where this ML Engineer (New Grad) role can be performed from anywhere in the US or Canada. You will work on our ML team to build LLM-powered agents for spam and policy-violating content detection, using Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Spark, and Kubernetes.

We value learning and collaboration, with opportunities to own projects from early development through production. Strong foundations in ML and transformer models are required, and start date is early 2027.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in CS, Engineering, or related field; in progress or completed
• Strong knowledge of Python and software basics
• Mathematical foundations of ML algorithms
• Experience with LLMs or transformer models
• Willing to align with coordination hours 9am–3pm PT
• Able to start full-time in early 2027

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy LLM-powered agents to detect content violations at Quora scale
• Develop agentic workflows to automate moderation tasks
• Design and improve ML systems for evolving abuse patterns
• Evaluate agent performance with offline/online experiments and monitoring
• Investigate failure cases and iterate on solutions
• Identify new opportunities to apply ML/LLMs to content safety at Quora
• Collaborate with engineers and own projects from development to production
