Job summary

Quora is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer (New Grad) to design, evaluate, and deploy LLM-powered systems that detect and manage content quality and safety at scale. You’ll work with an experienced team, building agentic workflows and production-ready models using Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.

You'll iterate on models, balance accuracy with latency and cost, and contribute to evolving abuse detection strategies while learning from senior engineers. Start date in early 2027 is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a new graduate or soon-to-graduate in a CS/Engineering or related field.
• Experience with LLM applications or transformer models via coursework, research, or projects.
• Strong mathematical foundations of ML algorithms and Python programming.

Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and deploy LLM-powered agents at Quora scale.
• Develop agentic workflows to automate complex moderation tasks.
• Evaluate agent performance through offline and online experiments.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers from early development to production.
