Job summary

Torc seeks a software‑oriented integration engineer to join our Dataloop + Simulation effort. You will act as the hands‑on liaison between platform teams and embedded Autonomy groups, driving adoption of Torc Sim and essential data workflows.

You will onboard Autonomy models for replay/validation, help scale simulations, and contribute to visualization tooling and data‑driven improvements across the stack. Remote-friendly within US/Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related field with 4+ years experience, or Master’s with 2+ years experience.
• Strong Python skills and experience building or operating data pipelines at scale.
• Experience with simulation, replay, or model validation.
• Familiarity with autonomy or robotics ML models and the data they consume.
• Comfort working across cloud storage and compute.
• Strong cross‑team communication skills between platform and Autonomy teams.
• Hands‑on problem solving: debugging data pipelines and explaining metric discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Act as embedded contact between Dataloop + Simulation and Autonomy teams, driving adoption of Torc Sim.
• Implement end‑to‑end data flow: data ops platform → simulation environment → storage at scale.
• Onboard Autonomy models to replay/recompute workflows at scale and evaluate metrics.
• Ensure adoption of visualization tooling and deliver UI/UX improvements for the backlog.
• Become domain expert on partner models (e.g., Camera, Lidar, Vehicle Intent, Object Tracking).
• Debug issues spanning data ingestion to metrics and drive resolution.
• Translate engineer feedback into concrete product roadmap requirements.
• Document workflows and onboard new users to scale adoption.
