Job summary

Zotec Partners is seeking a Mirth Engineer in a fully remote role. You will manage daily Mirth Connect tasks, automate processes, configure HL7 connections, troubleshoot issues, and deliver data integration solutions for internal staff and clients.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in healthcare integration, experience with HL7, EDI x12, SQL, Javascript, and a change-control environment, plus a degree in informatics or related field. Excellent communication and a proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in healthcare integration.
• Knowledge of HL7, EDI x12, image formats, Excel, OCR for data analysis.
• Interface engine experience required; Mirth preferred.
• Experience using SQL to analyze data and run queries.
• Experience using Javascript to transform data.
• Experience in a change control environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in informatics or related field preferred.
• Discretion and independent judgment in day-to-day work.

Responsibilities

• Automate manual processes in healthcare integration workflows.
• Configure HL7 connections and troubleshoot related issues.
• Analyze data by writing and running SQL queries.
• Develop custom interfaces and data extracts from SQL databases.
• Create custom reporting methods using Mirth Connect.
• Maintain Mirth Connect system, addressing failures and upgrades.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and participate in on-call rotation.
