Job summary

Zotec Partners in the United States is seeking a Mirth Engineer to join our Interoperability Department in a remote role. You will manage daily Mirth Connect tasks and collaborate across teams to streamline HL7 integrations.

You'll automate processes, write SQL queries, and develop interfaces and data extracts, while ensuring system reliability through monitoring and upgrades. Excellent communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years' experience in healthcare integration.
• Knowledge of file structure for analysis (HL7, EDI x12, Image formats, Excel, OCR).
• Interface engine experience required; Mirth preferred.
• Experience utilizing SQL, including writing and running queries, to analyze data.
• Experience using Javascript to transform data.
• Experience operating in a change control environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in informatics or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Automate manual processes.
• Configure HL7 connections cross-functionally.
• Troubleshoot connection issues and other integration challenges.
• Provide exceptional service to internal Zotec employees and clients.
• Analyze and manipulate data by writing and running SQL queries.
• Develop custom interfaces and data extracts using Mirth Connect.
• Maintain Mirth Connect system including upgrades and resource management.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to incidents.
