Job summary

Pursuant Energy Partners is seeking an experienced Mineral Buying Agent to identify, contact, negotiate with, and acquire mineral rights from landowners for our oil and gas projects. This is a fully remote position with occasional travel to meet landowners, attend closings, and support project needs.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong negotiation and communication skills, able to manage a high-volume pipeline from outreach through executed purchase agreements, keep accurate CRM

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in land/mineral acquisition or oil and gas leasing.
• Proven success negotiating and closing agreements.
• Strong understanding of title, mineral ownership, and legal descriptions.
• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Acquire mineral rights, oil and gas leases, surface agreements, easements, and ROW agreements.
• Review title and ownership records; identify and communicate title issues.
• Negotiate agreements with landowners, mineral owners, and legal representatives.
• Prepare and manage acquisition documents and maintain accurate project records.
• Provide regular project updates and collaborate with internal teams.
• Represent the company professionally in all interactions.
